Those planning to use the North-South Expressway (NSE) during the Chinese New Year holidays are advised to follow the PLUS Travel Time Advisory (TTA) schedule for a smoother journey
About 1.4 million motorists are expected to be using the NSE.
Some of the highlights by PLUS during Chinese New Year :
- 10% rebates when you travel on Jan 19, 23 and 27 using electronic cards such as Touch 'n' Go. Click here for more info on PLUS: CNY 2012's 10% discount
- Reload Lane Closure. Reload lanes at toll plazas will be closed from 20 January to 8 February to facilitate smoother traffic flow at toll plazas.
- Reload ’n Go Counters will be opened from 20 to 29 January at 21 petrol stations located at selected R&Rs across along the NSE to enable highway users to reload their Touch ’n Go or PLUSMiles cards.
- Free Drinks - Red Bull and Indo Cafe drinks will be available at selected rest and service areas and lay-bys from 20, 21, 28 and 29 January from 12:00 noon till 5:00 pm.
- Latest traffic updates through twitter at www.twitter.com/plustrafik. Hourly traffic reports by selected radio stations
